Welcome to the sale of my lovely X5 30D SE Auto.

Welcome to the sale of my lovely X5 30D SE Auto.
I bought this vehicle from a dealer around 9 months ago for £16,750. Drove perfectly for around 3-4 months then suddenly it started making a knocking noise in the engine area. I had it looked at by a local garage (non BMW)as didn’t want to drive it far, they said likely injectors as apparently it’s a common fault on these. As I own 3 other cars, I wasn’t in a rush to fix it and parked it up on my drive. Might be a cheap fix for someone mechanically inclined.
Fast forward 5-6 months and it’s still sitting here! Tried to start it last week, battery flat. I’ve fitted a brand new battery for £360 and it’s starts perfectly fine. So you now have a new battery included. Car runs and drives but I wouldn’t drive it in case it causes more damage? I’m no mechanic, you drive it at your own risk. I’d advise it to be trailered away.Mot just ran out 3 weeks ago. Now the good bits.
