This is my project car which starts and drives but has a few things that need fixing first that I just don’t have the time for at the moment.
The bad:
– Engine starts no issue and drives but the head gaskets and radiator need replacing which is quite a big job in terms of labour and I was quoted 1200 for this. I have bought a new radiator which will be included.
– Rust on the underside of the car and a few small patches on the body as pictured needs repairing before the car can be driven. Again this is quite a big job which I was quoted around 1500 for
– Finally the brakes work however would most likely need replacing before an MOT
– There are of course many small bits which aren’t in great condition but only need some love and attention such as on the interior, for which I have bought many parts which will be included.
The good:
– It’s a beautiful 328i with the factory M sport kit and a very rare manual in metallic Montreal blue where the paint is in very good condition.
– Has full documentation and factory service history up to around 2017 when I believe it was last on the road
– Engine is in great condition other than the mentioned issues
– My rough estimate of the work it needs is around 4-5k so it’s not a light project but if you have the time this is a fantastic car worth over 10k and is only going to appreciate in time. This model and configuration is very rare so is a really exciting opportunity for any enthusiast.
